Blake Bebar
Blake spent his childhood just outside of Houston, Texas, a concrete jungle that is dominated by cars and flooding. Because of his upbringing, he developed a deep passion for architecture that is environmentally conscious and sustainably built. Blake earned his Bachelor’s degree from Clemson University in 2025, where he had the chance to work and study in Charleston, South Carolina. There, he was able to express his passion for sustainable materials in a flood-prone context, pushing project boundaries by using unique materials like rammed earth and mass timber. This ultimately led him to Ward + Blake Architects, whose work closely aligns with his own design philosophy.
Blake is particularly drawn to exploring how architecture can connect ideas across scales by balancing the big-picture vision with the details that bring a design to life. His artistic side helps him push early design concepts and create intentional spaces, but he also enjoys the craft of architecture, paying close attention to materiality and detail to ensure grounded execution in each project.
Outside of the studio, Blake likes to spend his free time hiking, snowboarding, playing sports, and expanding his photography portfolio while exploring the beauty of Jackson Hole.
