Conceived as a standalone residence within a larger family compound, the guest house is carefully positioned among mature trees and native grasses to preserve the site’s tranquility and sense of retreat. The architecture draws inspiration from traditional agrarian forms, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. Distinctive folded rooflines, weathered wood siding, and patinated steel cladding create a bold yet understated presence that feels rooted in place.

Large windows frame intimate views of the aspens, inviting daylight deep into the interiors while maintaining privacy. The exterior material palette of reclaimed wood, steel, and glass is intentionally durable and low-maintenance, allowing the structure to age gracefully with the landscape. Covered outdoor spaces and natural pathways strengthen the relationship between architecture and site, encouraging year-round enjoyment of the Wyoming seasons.
